How we check agencies for our shortlists
Our shortlists record what B2B marketing agencies show on their own websites. We do not rate them, and because PlanConversion is an agency, we disclose our own listing separately on every page.

Sources
We record only what a firm shows on its own website on the date checked. Where a fact comes from a directory such as Clutch, the list says so.
What we record
Office location, whether the firm states a B2B focus, services in six areas (ABM, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEO or GEO, CRO, analytics or RevOps), clients named on the site, and whether prices are published.
What we do not claim
We do not rate quality, results or reviews, and we do not repeat performance claims. A missing service means the firm's site did not list it, not that the firm cannot do it.
Order
Firms that state a B2B focus come first, then the rest, alphabetical within each group. The order is not a ranking.
Our own listing
PlanConversion is a B2B demand generation agency. We appear in a separate, labelled block on every list and are never placed among or above the firms we checked.
Thin lists
We publish a city list only when at least four local firms can be verified. We did not publish service-by-city lists where fewer than four local firms showed that service.
Why we publish them
Buyers increasingly ask AI assistants and search engines for the best B2B marketing agency in a city, and the answers can rest on paid directory placements or rankings that are hard to verify. A dated record of what each firm says about itself is easier to check and easier to correct.
How to use a list
Use the services table to narrow the field to firms that list what you need, then ask each one for a named B2B case study in your sector, how leads reach your CRM, and who will run the work. Treat the list as a starting point for your own diligence, not a recommendation.
No paid placement
No firm paid to be included or to change its position, and the lists carry no affiliate or referral links.
Check dates
Every list shows the date its firms were checked. Agency websites change often, so treat a list checked more than six months ago as a starting point and confirm details on each firm's site.
What a missing value means
A blank client field means the firm did not name clients on its site on that date. "Not stated" for B2B focus means the site did not describe one, which is different from saying the firm has no B2B clients.
Corrections
Agencies can request a correction or removal by email. We recheck the firm's site and update the list with a new check date.

About the method
Are these agency shortlists rankings?
No. Firms that state a B2B focus are listed first and the rest follow, alphabetical within each group. We do not rate quality, results or reviews.
Can an agency pay to be listed?
No. Inclusion depends only on the firm listing the city as a base and on what its own website shows on the date checked.
Why is PlanConversion shown separately?
PlanConversion publishes the lists and is a B2B demand generation agency itself, so it appears in a labelled disclosure block and never among or above the firms checked.
How do I request a correction?
Email us with the page and the change. We recheck the firm's own website and update the list with a new check date.
